Government Relations Officer – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services

Job Summary

The Officer – Government Relations will be responsible for handling and coordinating all government-related administrative processes, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong coordination skills, knowledge of governmental procedures, document management capabilities, and the ability to work closely with internal departments and external authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and process government-related transactions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with ministries, government authorities, and regulatory entities for company requirements.
  • Follow up on permits, licenses, approvals, gate passes, residency-related documentation, and official submissions.
  • Prepare and submit required government forms and supporting documents.
  • Maintain accurate records, tracking systems, and filing of official documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding employee and company administrative requirements.
  • Support onboarding and employee documentation processes when required.
  • Ensure timely renewal and follow-up of company-related licenses and official documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of records and government documentation.
  • Prepare reports, letters, and official correspondence related to administration and government relations.
  • Liaise with service providers and external stakeholders regarding administrative matters.
  • Support management with administrative coordination and reporting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Kuwaiti National is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in administration, government relations, or PRO-related activities.
  • Good understanding of Kuwait governmental procedures and documentation processes.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
