Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive inspections of welding processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications by utilizing advanced inspection techniques and tools to uphold quality assurance.
2. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop and implement quality control plans that align with project timelines and quality expectations, ensuring successful project execution.
3. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on welded joints, utilizing methods such as ultrasonic and radiographic testing to identify defects, thereby ensuring the structural integrity of the projects.
4. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports that document findings, corrective actions, and recommendations, ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders involved in the project.
5. Participate in regular quality audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of welding processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance overall quality standards.
6. Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors and welding personnel, promoting a culture of quality awareness and compliance throughout the team and organization.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry regulations, codes, and technologies related to welding inspection, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with standards such as ASME-B31.3 and AWS-D1.1.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and increasing overall project efficiency, contributing to the organization’s success.
9. Act as a liaison between clients and the project team, addressing any quality-related concerns and ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
