Production Engineer – United Beverage Company K.S.C.C
Join our dynamic team as a Production Engineer in the fast-paced FMCG sector in Kuwait. This role is responsible for overseeing and following up with UBC production processes whilst ensuring production processes meet industry standards for safety, efficiency, and quality, while collaborating closely with the Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production line operations to ensure optimal efficiency and address any operational issues that may arise.
- Assist in developing production schedules based on demand forecasts, available capacity, and materials availability, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting production goals.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical problems quickly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production flow.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse and Procurement Departments to manage materials, including inventory control, procurement, and material requirement planning (MRP).
- Implement a regular calibration schedule for equipment, including temperature sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, and other critical instruments, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with the Maintenance and Calibration Team to ensure all maintenance and calibration schedules are adhered to and that equipment is properly maintained
- Analyze current processes and implement improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall plant performance.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication, facilitating uninterrupted operations.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
