Job Purpose

Responsible for handling the recruitment process by searching, shortlisting and hiring the best candidates for various positions and leveraging their knowledge of hiring best practices, industry trends and various sourcing strategies.

  • Implement the HR department’s set policies and procedures and comply with the company’s policies.

Talent Acquisition Officer Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual manpower plan with all company departments.
  • Receive hiring requests from various division and department heads, verify their alignment with the manpower budget and collect information to clearly understand the job specifications and duties.
  • Use the job descriptions provided by the OD department to create job postings that accurately describe the position and attract the best candidates.
  • Post ads on various job boards, social media platforms, and conduct thorough search for passive candidates.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing and headhunting activities to identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and communicate the interview process details to them.
  • Conduct phone screening, video, and face-to-face interviews with candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the position.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates to verify their qualifications and ensure they meet the organization’s hiring standards.
  • Facilitate candidate assessments, such as skills tests or personality assessments, to evaluate the candidate’s fit for the position.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate compensation packages, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Prepare employment offers and contracts after completion of the selection process.
  • Conduct new employee orientation to prepare them for the organization’s culture and foster a positive attitude towards the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment-related activities, including applicant data, interview notes, and recruitment expenses.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Perform other duties related to the job as the direct manager assigns.
