Sales Engineer – Afaq United
The Sales Engineer position in the mechanical, industrial, electrical, and electromechanical sectors in Al Kuwait, Kuwait, is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with sales acumen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of engineering products and services to clients in various industries. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to potential customers. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to identify their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the mechanical and electrical sectors.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase technical capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products and gather market intelligence.
- Provide after-sales support and address any technical issues that arise.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities and customer feedback.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.
Preferred Candidate:
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven sales experience in a technical field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong negotiation skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
