Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse manager is to oversee the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring the efficient

and safe storage, handling, and distribution of goods. They are responsible for managing

inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring that all activities comply with safety and

regulatory standards. The warehouse manager coordinates the receiving, storing, and shipping

of products while optimizing warehouse layout and ensuring accurate stock levels to meet

demand. They also handle order fulfillment, monitor performance metrics, and implement

strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

₋ Oversee inventory control to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurate.

₋ Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure product accuracy.

₋ Implement systems to track and manage inventory, reducing errors and losses.

₋ Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff, including loaders, clerks, and supervisors.

₋ Assign tasks and monitor employee performance to ensure efficiency.

₋ Ensure that all staff follow safety guidelines and procedures.

₋ Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders to meet customer demand.

₋ Monitor order accuracy to prevent shipping errors or delays.

₋ Plan and optimize the warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency.

₋ Ensure proper storage methods are used to prevent damage or loss of products.

₋ Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and receiving.

₋ Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics companies.

₋ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping times, and

inventory turnover.

₋ Oversee the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operational costs

₋ Work with customer service teams to resolve order issues and ensure customer

satisfaction.

₋ Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Reports

₋ Prepare and submit periodic reports to direct management pertaining to Warehouse

activities and any issues that may arise.

₋ Prepare and submit Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age

report, consumption report, manpower status report to the Head of Operations.
