Responsibilities:

  2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, managing the preparation and presentation of breakfast dishes while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and kitchen best practices to foster their professional growth.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly without interruptions.
  5. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to implement cost control measures, analyzing food costs and minimizing waste for increased profitability.
  6. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely, reporting any malfunctions to prevent disruptions in service.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients for breakfast offerings, supporting local businesses.
  8. Participate in the creation of special events and promotions, showcasing unique breakfast items that attract guests and enhance the restaurant’s reputation.
