Our Client is seeking a Resident Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects, specifically with experience involving the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW).
Responsibilities –
- Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards and conduct regular inspections to identify any issues.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of construction progress, daily logs, and reports, including any changes to the project scope.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team and address any engineering-related challenges that arise on-site.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and assist in budget planning, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project requirements.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local laws, regulations, and permitting requirements, particularly with regards to PAHW standards.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, management, and construction teams, facilitating clear communication and reporting on project status.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential problems early and develop practical solutions to minimize delays and ensure project success.
- Safety Oversight: Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
