Qhse Officer – THE BRIDGE CO.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QHSE Officer to join our dynamic team in the accounting sector. As a QHSE Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization adheres to the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring that all team members understand and comply with QHSE standards.
- Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a comprehensive QHSE management system that meets local and international standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on QHSE policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics, preparing reports for management and suggesting improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate QHSE considerations into daily operations and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, adapting QHSE policies accordingly.
- Facilitate communication and reporting on QHSE matters to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in external audits and inspections, ensuring that our organization meets all compliance requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Preferred Candidate:Demonstrated experience in QHSE management within the accounting or related sector.
- Strong understanding of local and international QHSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, able to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
- Proficiency in QHSE software and tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
- Certification in QHSE management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety, occupational health, environmental science, Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
