Officer- GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal) – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services

Role

To support the Governance, Risk & Compliance Department in administrative and coordination activities by ensuring effective documentation control, action tracking, reporting, and follow-up of compliance activities. The role will support implementation of governance frameworks, audit follow-ups, and preparation of key management reports and presentations.

This is a support and coordination role and does not carry independent compliance ownership or decision-making authority.

 

Responsibilities

  • Log and track actions in ATS; monitor progress and ensure timely closure with proper documentation in DMS.
  • Prepare professional presentations, dashboards, and reports for management.
  • Support drafting, updating, and coordinating approval of GRC policies and documents (aligned with ISO where applicable).
  • Develop and maintain compliance trackers and monitoring tools.
  • Coordinate with departments, follow up on pending actions, and draft professional communications.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and MoMs, and track action items to closure.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including documentation and evidence compilation (preferred).
  • Assist with departmental risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Management, Quality, Engineering, or related field).

1–3 years’ experience in administrative coordination, compliance support, quality, or governance roles.

Experience in documentation and reporting support is required.
