Manager- Financial Controller – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Financial Controller to lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting activities.

The role will work closely with senior management and key business functions to ensure effective financial control, support business decision-making, optimize profitability and working capital, and drive achievement of the company’s financial targets

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments and ensure timely completion.
• Develop long-term financial plans and rolling forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Consolidate departmental budgets into comprehensive company-wide financial plans.
• Review budget assumptions and challenge business cases submitted by departments.
• Monitor compliance with approved budgets and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Perform Budget vs. Actual analysis, identify key variances, and provide clear explanations and recommendations to management.
• Support management in achieving revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital targets.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and other functions to improve business performance.
• Support pricing, profitability, and margin optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate operational initiatives, business cases, and investment proposals from a financial perspective.
• Assist business units with financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
• Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, project, and business line.
• Monitor inventory, receivables, and payables to improve and optimize working capital.
• Support liquidity planning and capital allocation decisions.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and presented in a clear and meaningful manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
