Maintenance Engineer – SOS HR Solutions

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for one of the leading Food and Beverage companies in Kuwait. This role is essential in overseeing and maintaining all electrical systems, including cabling and wiring, for various facilities such as production plants, storage units, and retail outlets. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems that are critical in the fast-paced F&B sector.

In this position, you will engage with both single-phase and three-phase systems, providing essential support to production machinery and cold storage systems integral to food safety and quality. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems in food and beverage facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency to support production needs.
2. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, diagnosing potential issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
3. Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems, ensuring timely servicing to prolong equipment life and enhance reliability in food processing operations.
4. Collaborate with production teams to provide technical support for machinery and cold storage systems, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to food safety standards.
5. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems for upcoming projects, ensuring all installations meet regulatory requirements and industry standards in the F&B sector.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations pertinent to food and beverage operations.
7. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence within the team to ensure high standards of performance.
8. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing electrical systems and processes, contributing to the agency’s goals of efficiency and innovation in the F&B industry.
9. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments, ensuring that all maintenance operations adhere to health and safety regulations to protect staff and clients in food-related environments.
