HR Officer – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services
KDF is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to join its Human Resources team in Kuwait.
The HR Officer will serve as a key point of contact between the organization and its employees, providing timely and professional HR support across the employee lifecycle. The role will contribute to effective HR operations while supporting KDF’s business objectives, workforce requirements, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies and applicable Kuwait regulations.
The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience across HR operations, employee relations, HR administration, employee transactions, reporting, and HR compliance, preferably within the Oil & Gas or industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to the below:
- Act as a primary HR contact for employees, providing professional guidance on HR policies, procedures, systems, and employee transactions.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related requests in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including CV screening, interviews, candidate coordination, reference checks, medicals, employment approvals, job offers, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and business stakeholders to support manpower requirements and timely recruitment.
- Prepare employment contracts, joining documentation, internal HR memos, and other employee-related documents.
- Support employee relations activities, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary procedures, counselling, and workplace concerns.
- Conduct employee induction, orientation, onboarding, and exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, organizational charts, and personnel documentation.
- Support payroll activities by providing accurate employee documentation relating to salaries, deductions, and HR transactions.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, workforce metrics, KPI reports, and management information.
- Coordinate and prepare Kuwaitization-related reports within required deadlines.
- Monitor employee probation periods and coordinate probation evaluations in line with company policy and applicable regulations.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and employee development initiatives.
- Visit remote/work locations when required to engage with employees and address HR-related concerns.
- Ensure HR transactions and documentation comply with KDF policies, procedures, and applicable Kuwait requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery, reporting, and employee experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive employee matters.
- Perform other HR responsibilities and projects assigned by the HR Manager.
- Females are highly preferred for this role.
- Arabic – spoken and written is mandatory.
