Finance Manager – Pharmaceutical Company | Kuwait – SOS HR Solutions
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a leading pharmaceutical company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and supporting business decisions through financial analysis. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing finance functions within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting and finance operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Treasury.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait financial regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock provisions, and product costing.
- Review financial controls and implement process improvements.
- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and KPI analysis.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to support business growth and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a Finance Manager role.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, FMCG, or Distribution industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
