Fabrication Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise all fabrication activities, including steel structures, piping, tanks, welding and skids, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications throughout the process.
2. Plan and control fabrication schedules, manpower, and workshop operations, utilizing advanced project management tools to optimize workflow and efficiency.
3. Leverage your extensive knowledge of welding and fabrication standards to guide the team in executing tasks safely and effectively, minimizing errors and enhancing productivity.
4. Conduct regular assessments of workshop operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to drive performance enhancements.
5. Oversee the training and development of team members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles successfully and safely.
6. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that fabrication processes align with project requirements and deadlines, utilizing data tracking tools for progress monitoring.
7. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, conducting inspections and audits to ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
8. Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for fabrication projects.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on fabrication performance to senior management, using data analysis to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
