Responsibilities:
- Oversee the duct fabrication and installation processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timely completion while coordinating with other trades to minimize disruptions.
- Lead and supervise a team of duct fabricators and installers, providing effective training and mentorship to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement production planning strategies, optimizing resource allocation and workflow to maximize efficiency and meet project deadlines effectively.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections throughout the ductwork production and installation phases, addressing any discrepancies promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
- Manage material procurement and inventory for duct fabrication, ensuring that all necessary materials are available on-site and that costs are kept within budget.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all ductwork activities, including production schedules, quality reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
