Cladding Operator – Career Hunters

Department: Engineering / Construction

Location:  Kuwait

Reporting To: Supervisor/ Foreman

Authority: To independently handle welding in consultation with supervisor

Accountability: Minimize rejections in welding processes

Key Responsibilities:

·        Required good Knowledge of Fronius – Vertical Cladding Machine setting and Program

·        Set up and operate cladding machinery and tools.

·        Prepare material I joint as per WPS requirements.

·        Perform cladding  operations  using Fronius Vertical  Cladding  Machine  on various components such as flanges, valves, pipes, and pressure vessels.

·        Set up and operate machines for both manual and automated cladding systems.

·        Apply corrosion-resistant alloys (e.g., Inconel, Stainless Steel) on Low alloy steel substrates.

·        Prepare surfaces by grinding or machining to ensure clean and proper bonding surfaces.

·        Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas.

·        Responsible for the control of welding consumable and Welding Equipment’s

·        Ensures that all problems notices and/or encountered during operation will be reported to supervisor.

·        Prepare the programming for improved methods of productivity.

·        Control the Parameters like wire feed, Travel speed, Gas Flow Rate as per Approved WPS.

·        Prepare the Programming and maintain Torch movements within the designated area.

·        Accomplish daily production report e.g.,weld record sheets, baking data etc.

·        Accomplish daily activities based from routing.

·        Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

·        Safe Keeping of records.

·        Perform housekeeping from time to time.
