Cashier – Epicure

As a Cashier your primary responsibility will be to handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and online payments accurately
• Issue receipts and maintain proper billing records
• Handle refunds and customer payment inquiries
• Reconcile cash drawer at end of shift
• Coordinate with operations team for smooth service

Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions accurately using the system, ensuring all sales are recorded and payments are handled securely to maintain financial integrity.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, ensuring that all materials, such as menus and promotional items, are readily available for customers.
3. Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels of cash register supplies and alerting management of any shortages to ensure smooth operations.
4. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service delivery, helping to expedite orders during peak hours to minimize wait times for customers.
5. Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately, balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure financial accuracy.
6. Report any discrepancies or issues with transactions to management immediately, ensuring transparency and adherence to company policies.
