Bid Engineer – Diyar United Company
To manage the writing and production of bids and quotations in response to expressions of Interest (EOIs), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs) or Request for Proposals (RFPs) from potential customers. This involves leading technical and sales teams to produce winning proposals, and often managing multiple bids simultaneously.
This role requires interaction with sales and technical staff, as well as other support functions. Sharp attention to the requirements and deliverables. Interaction with partner companies will also be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as program officer for all bids and take responsibility of project completion and handover in liaison with Pre-Sales, Technical, Support, and Sales Members.
- Review the RFP and tender documents and form an understanding of the requirements.
- Monitor and follow all bids and prepare proposals accordingly.
- Prepare and supervise all proposals and templates for sales and account Managers.
- Liaise with the departments concerned to get the relevant documents to be incorporated in the Bid.
- Design the contents, organization and aesthetics of the bids and proposals.
- Compile complete bids with all the relevant information.
- Create and maintain a date base of the bids submitted.
- Liaison with other departments for day-to-day activities.
- Ensure that applicable ISMS and BCMS requirements are considered during bid preparation.
- Ensure the confidentiality and appropriate handling of bid, customer, commercial, technical, and other sensitive information in accordance with applicable information security policies and procedures.
- Ensure that bid-related information and records are appropriately stored, retained, protected, and disposed of in accordance with applicable company requirements.
- Supervise the process of Bids Closing and ensure that all Bid Checklist is reviewed and met in the submission delivered to client in timely manner.
