Automotive Technician – AlMailem Group

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at a leading automotive dealership and distributor in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a passion for providing exceptional service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. You will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality service to our customers, contributing to our reputation as a trusted automotive service provider. This position offers a competitive salary of 160 KD, along with accommodation, overtime pay, and performance incentives.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, ensuring all repairs are completed to high standards.
2. Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
3. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies.
5. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs, providing transparent estimates and timelines.
6. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous training and education.
7. Collaborate with parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary components for repairs.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop environment.
9. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
10. Support team initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service processes.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
4. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
6. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
7. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
8. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
9. Knowledge of automotive software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
