Waiter supervisor – Kúl Restaurant
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Waiter Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Al Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant’s waiting staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen ability to manage a team effectively. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service, training staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waiting staff to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor new waitstaff, providing guidance on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Monitor dining room operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing service protocols to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Handle guest complaints and inquiries professionally, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service, addressing any issues that may arise during service.
- Prepare and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of waitstaff, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for service needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continually enhance service quality and team performance.
Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience as a waiter or in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality service and maintaining standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other restaurant management software.
