Waiter – Kúl Restaurant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter to join our dynamic team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for anticipating guests’ needs, delivering high-quality service, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor is essential. You will interact with various team members, including kitchen staff and management, to ensure smooth operations and uphold our establishment’s standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
2. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and addressing any guest inquiries.
3. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered correctly and in a timely fashion.
4. Monitor guests’ dining experience, checking in regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient order preparation and timely delivery of meals.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables as needed.
7. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care.
8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both guests and staff.
9. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
10. Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels of food and beverage items to management.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role, demonstrating strong hospitality skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
3. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing guest concerns and enhancing their experience.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
6. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, as well as menu items, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
7. Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering a supportive and cooperative work environment.
9. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays, ensuring efficient service delivery.
