Slickline Foreman – Senergy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Slickline Foreman to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of slickline operations and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating slickline activities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of technicians and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The Slickline Foreman will work closely with other departments to optimize operations and enhance productivity while maintaining the highest levels of safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate slickline operations, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
2. Lead a team of slickline Operators, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
3. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety within the team.
4. Monitor and maintain equipment used in slickline operations, ensuring it is in good working condition and compliant with safety standards.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as drilling and production, to develop and implement operational plans that meet project objectives.
6. Prepare and review slickline operation reports, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and analyzed for continuous improvement.
7. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding slickline operations, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to slickline operations.
9. Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure readiness for any incidents that may occur during operations.
10. Continuously assess and improve operational efficiencies and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in slickline operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
2. Strong knowledge of slickline equipment and technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
6. Proven track record of maintaining high safety standards and promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Willingness to work in remote locations and travel as required for operational needs.
10. Valid certification in slickline operations and safety training preferred.
