SITE ENGINEER – (Instr. Ctrl) – ABJ engineering construction
The Site Engineer for Instrumentation and Control is a pivotal role in ensuring that all instrumentation and control systems are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently on-site. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The Site Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other engineering professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget while adhering to industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation and control issues.
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management.
- Assist in the development of project plans and budgets.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in instrumentation and control projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
