About us
Le Café NAC is an all-day neighbourhood café, restaurant and pâtisserie from London’s Belgravia. We serve globally inspired comfort dishes, fresh pastries and specialty coffee in a Parisian café setting, from breakfast to dinner. We are now opening in Kuwait and are building our opening team.
The role
As a Server you look after your own section, inside or on the terrace, from the moment guests sit down until they leave. You are the guest’s host, guide to the menu and link to the kitchen and bar. Every guest should leave feeling welcomed, cared for and keen to come back.
Key responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly and follow our steps of service and service timings
• Know the food, coffee and pastry menu in detail; describe dishes and recommend with confidence
• Take accurate orders and enter them in the POS system, including special requests and allergies
• Follow our allergy procedure strictly: ask every table, check, never guess
• Work closely with assistant servers, the kitchen and the bar to deliver food and drinks on time
• Check back on every table, anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly with your supervisor
• Present bills, take payments (KNET, card, cash) accurately and close checks
• Keep your section and side station clean, stocked and set to standard
• Complete opening, running and closing duties
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming and health and safety standards
