Senior Implementation Engineer – Storage Solutions – SOS HR Solutions
Key points: – Have a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on Dell EMC storage implementation experience – Hold at least one or more valid Dell Technologies Proven Professional certifications – Have a proven track record in storage deployment and migration projects, not just administration or support.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise Dell Storage Solutions
- Deploy and manage:
- Dell PowerStore
- Dell PowerMax
- Dell Unity
- Dell PowerScale
- Dell ECS Object Storage
- Perform storage provisioning, configuration, zoning, mapping, masking, and LUN management
- Implement SAN and NAS storage architectures for enterprise environments
- Perform storage migration activities between legacy and modern storage platforms
- Implement and support:
- Metro/Global replication
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- High Availability (HA)
- Business Continuity solutions
- Integrate storage systems with:
- VMware vSphere / vCenter
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Linux and Windows Servers
- Backup solutions
- Configure and troubleshoot Fibre Channel SAN environments
- Work with Brocade and Cisco SAN switches including zoning and fabric management
- Perform storage performance analysis, health checks, optimization, and root cause analysis
- Support NAS protocols including:
- NFS
- SMB/CIFS
- FTP
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities
- Prepare implementation documentation including:
- HLD/LLD
- SOPs
- As-built documentation
- Migration plans
- Operational handover documents
- Provide L2/L3 technical support during implementation and post-deployment phases
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, project managers, and technical teams during project execution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in enterprise storage implementation and administration
- Minimum 4+ years of strong hands-on experience specifically with Dell EMC Storage Solutions
- Proven experience in enterprise storage deployment and migration projects
- Strong understanding of SAN/NAS architecture, replication technologies, DR, HA, and storage optimization
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience working in enterprise/datacenter environments
