Senior Accountant – SOS HR Solutions

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our retail operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, maintaining optimal cash flow for the retail shop.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation and filing.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Collaborate with retail management to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency in the retail environment.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning for the shop.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations relevant to retail operations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to retail finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with retail staff and management.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with experience in retail systems.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
- Experience in the textiles and fabrics retail industry is a significant advantage.
