Senior Account Manager

This position at the Telecom company needs to have and execute analytical thinking, business planning, commercial awareness and acumen, focus, influence and impact, resourcefulness, account management, coaching, concern for achievement, people development within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify prospect business opportunities and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options.
  • Meet and exceed sales target by recommending new opportunities and creating renewed business by good account management.
  • Conduct frequent follow-up on the prospects, negotiate and close the deals. Submit proposals on a timely manner.
  • Focus and promote new services and products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects. 
  • Maintains relationships with existing clients by providing support, information, and guidance to ensure renewed business opportunities.
  • Ensure receiving approved contracts for services provided against email approvals & LPO basis.
  • Create & Co-ordinate and conduct meeting request with Pre-sales Engineers & Customers & site visit with Pre-sales engineer / IT Staff
  • Record & update business leads and qualifying opportunities in CRM
  • Review & monitor Lead to order closing cycle time in CRM
  • Exert maximum efforts to avoid cancellations and resolve issues with clients.
  • Identify service improvements or new services by identifying industry trends, market activities and competitors.
  • Follow-up on outstanding / pending commercial invoices for Strategic Customers
  • Communicate customer complaints received from the Customers to CRD
  • Timely submit Management Approved contracts to Customers
  • Process Service Cancellation requests in the system without undue delay
  • Prepare & submit business case study request to BD for new POP Node establishment.
  • Recommend Revenue achievement from each of the established POP Nodes & report to Assistant Manager.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench-marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date customer database
  • Prepare/Renew/Cancel POP Node contracts with Real Estate Owners & Service Contractors
  • Prepares business forecasts by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information assigned by CCO / Assistant Managers

Job Requirements

Education:

·        Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Business Administration or any related field or equivalent

Knowledge

  • PM/ITIL/CISA/CCIE/MCSE/CCNP/CCNA/CCVP
  • Ability to multi-task within a high-pressure environment
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors
  • Reports for Group Management
  • Updated on knowledge in their field of expertise.
