Sales Associate – SmartPet

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, achieving sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and company policies.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Support inventory management activities, including stock counts and replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Sales Associate, Retail Sales, or similar customer-facing role.
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and selling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or business are an advantage.
