QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical (Power and Water Project Experience) – Kuwait and UAE

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to monitor compliance with project specifications, utilizing tools such as checklists and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and workmanship during the construction phase, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
3. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle, facilitating proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
4. Prepare detailed quality control reports that outline inspection results, non-conformance issues, and recommendations for improvement, ensuring transparency and accountability.
5. Lead root cause analysis investigations for any quality-related incidents, employing problem-solving techniques to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
6. Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff, sharing best practices and techniques to enhance the overall quality culture within the organization.
7. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance, integrating new methodologies into existing processes to drive continuous improvement.
8. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available for review.
9. Participate in project planning meetings to provide insights on quality risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring quality considerations are integrated into project timelines and deliverables.
