Planning and Cost Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning and Cost Manager to be assigned lead our project planning and cost control functions across major construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry particularly with governmental ministry and oil and gas company, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic foresight, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all project activities to ensure timely completion in line with contract requirements.
- Manage the development, maintaining, and updating of project schedules and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate with project leaders, planning engineers, and cost control to monitor progress and mitigate risks.
- Analyze project performance and prepare regular reports on schedule status, critical paths, and forecasted completion dates.
- Participate in tender planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvements in project planning processes and systems.
- Manage and mentor a team of planners and cost controllers and ensure high performance across the department.
