Pharmacy Cashier – Mohamed N. Al Hajery and Sons Co. LTD

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Ensure correct pricing, apply discounts, and handle returns or exchanges according to the relevant policies.
• Accept cash or bank cards for payment and complete transactions according to the established procedure.
• Accurately enter the sold products on the POS system and give a receipt to each customer as per the policy.
• Balance the cash register and report any discrepancies to the pharmacist.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and accurate.
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile with total sales.
• Ensure that the cash register is always closed and secured when not being used.
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift, compare and match cash register totals with receipts vouchers to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
• Alert the pharmacist of low-stock items and products that need to be reordered.
• Assist the pharmacist in filing and record keeping of prescriptions.
• Prepare and submit daily cash movement report accurately to the operations manager.
• Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct manager.
