Mill Operator – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator to manage and operate vertical grinding mills used for crushing and blending industrial minerals such as Barite, Bentonite, Calcium, and Marble. The role requires hands-on experience in production operations, equipment monitoring, and maintaining consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor vertical grinding mills through SCADA/control panel systems
- Adjust operational parameters to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality
- Operate crushers and ensure production targets are achieved
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of crushers and mill equipment
- Conduct daily maintenance of production units including hoppers, conveyors, and feeders
- Supervise accurate filling of hoppers with specified raw materials
- Manage transfer of raw materials to mills using conveyor belt systems
- Set up mills for different product specifications (Barite, Bentonite, Calcium, Marble – various grades)
- Ensure accurate bulk loading of finished products into trucks
- Report equipment malfunctions and operational issues promptly
- Maintain records of downtime, operational hours, and production output
- Submit daily production reports to the Mill Supervisor, including incidents and performance data
- Follow all safety (HSE) and operational procedures
