Mechanical Technician – SOS HR Solutions

Key responsibilities

Design, review, and oversee mechanical systems including pumps, pipelines, valves, blowers, and filtration unitsSupervise installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment at water treatment plantsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical assetsPrepare technical reports, method statements, and as-built documentationCoordinate with civil, electrical, and process engineers to ensure integrated project deliveryIdentify and resolve mechanical failures and technical issues during project executionEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in water/wastewater projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and mechanical design softwareFamiliarity with international standards (ASME, BS, ISO)Strong problem-solving and communication skills
