Maintenance Manager

·      Manages all maintenance and repair activities in the plant and company owned branches.

·        Makes sure all the equipment and machinery are well maintained and lubricated.

·        Reacts quickly and efficiently to any breakdown in order not to cause any shortage in the production department.

·        Is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all the power generators, freezers, and the water treatment plant.

·        Maintains employee coverage at all shifts (24/7)

·        Makes sure all equipment and facility are hygienically sound and hazard free.·    ·     

·        Provides assistance to company owned branches in order to help solve any occurring maintenance problem (electrical, mechanical, etc…).

·        Prepares/reviews maintenance contracts with different suppliers, sub-contractors or specialized companies.

·        Coordinates and liaises with maintenance contractors.

·        Maintains detailed records of maintenance contracts to ensure their timely renewal.

·        Receives and reviews lease contracts and maintains respective detailed records to ensure their timely renewal.

·        Performs on site supervision of rehabilitation works, or other significant maintenance works, in the head office and company owned branches.

·        Prepares maintenance and repairs reports, statistics and expenses breakdown.

·        Maintains the inventory of tools and material needed for immediate maintenance cases.

·        Maintains proper documentation and filing of all maintenance work conducted on facility equipment.

·        Carries out routine preventive maintenance and minor repair works.

·        Supervises staff to ensure maintenance programs are carried out effectively.

·        Develops maintenance strategies, policies and procedures effectively.

·        Assists in the preparation of the maintenance department’s yearly plan and budget.

·        Monitors and reports the performance of direct subordinates and recommends appropriate training for them.

·        Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
