Maintenance Engineer – United Beverage Company K.S.C.C

Job Purpose:

To ensure maximum reliability, efficiency, and performance of the juice production lines (Tetra Pak), by executing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, managing spare parts, and leading root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve line performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform immediate troubleshooting and repair for breakdowns on Tetra Pak lines (TBA 19 and A3 Speed).
• Ensure minimum downtime and quick restoration of production lines.
• Support production during operation by resolving technical issues efficiently.

2. Preventive & Autonomous Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all assigned equipment.
• Lead and support autonomous maintenance initiatives with operators.
• Ensure proper documentation and closure of all maintenance activities.

3. Overhauls & Continuous Improvement

• Plan and execute major overhauls and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
• Implement modifications and upgrades where necessary.

4. Spare Parts Management

• Identify, classify, and maintain critical spare parts inventory.
• Initiate and follow up on spare parts orders to ensure availability.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and operational reliability.

5. Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Conduct detailed root cause analysis for recurring and major breakdowns.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate failures.
• Maintain records of breakdowns and solutions for future reference.

6. Juice Preparation & Supporting Equipment

• Maintain and troubleshoot juice preparation machines and supporting systems.
• Ensure all upstream processes are operating efficiently to support filling lines.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Track KPIs such as downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
• Provide regular updates to Maintenance Manager on line performance and issues.

8. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards.
• Follow company policies and contribute to a safe working environment.
