HVAC Operation Manager

₋ Responsible for managing the installation projects by monitoring and reporting on all

projects that span across the phases (design, tendering and construction) whilst

ensuring that projects are running smoothly and effectively and follow the terms and

specifications that were agreed on in the Project Development Plan.

₋ Ensure the implementation of the Project Management’s established policies and

procedures and comply with company other policies.

₋ Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company

policies, rules and procedures.

Activities

₋ Develop the Project Charters for executing the installation projects in order to

fulfill the requirements in line with the vision, mission and overall strategy of

the company

₋ Review the contract documents to determine time frame, funding limitations,

procedures, organization chart of the project, staffing requirements, and

allotment of available resources to the project.

₋ Coordinate with different departments related to resources planning (staff,

equipment etc.).

₋ Prepare detailed plan and budget for all stages of the project and share it with the

concerned departments.

₋ Contribute to the process of selecting and approving sub-contractors/suppliers for

project services and material.

₋ Review all developed Project Charter’s for all company installation projects in order

to fulfill all project requirements.

₋ Lead and guide the Installation team in the planning, organizing, managing and

controlling various aspects of the project in order to ensure that the project cycle

is completed, meeting agreed project parameters – scope, budget, timeframe &

quality.

₋ Review the tendering prices, recommend the project budget and monitor

financial performance versus the budget to ensure management is aware of

anticipated costs/revenues.

₋ Identify and capitalize on potential areas of cost reduction and performance

improvement opportunities to deliver the project in line with the budget.

₋ Develop a communication system to ensure that all information is timely available

within different installation teams.

₋ Develop an authority matrix to ensure that all project staff are aware about their

responsibilities and signature authority in line with company policies and procedures

₋ Ensure optimum utilization of resources (labor, materials &equipment) in the

projects.

₋ Manage project contractual matters and variations, ensuring that all company rights are preserved.

₋ Inspect site regularly in order to witness progress, execution of activities, review,

analyze and initiate corrective actions to meet the project timelines.

₋ Manage the overall risk, overall opportunities, and the interdependencies among

projects.

₋ Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions

and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of

products/services, and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

₋ Identify manpower requirements and Coordinate with the Human Resources &

Administration Division on all recruiting activities.

₋ Conduct annual employee performance appraisals of the Project Management

Office’s employees.

₋ Identify the needs of the Project Management Team to ensure all relevant experience

and knowledge is transferred to employees to ensure a highly skilled and high-

performance workforce.

₋ Instruct and lead the Installation Project Management Team’s employees through

their daily activities and assist in their development of technical skills.

₋ Provide the Installation Project Management Team employees with feedback on

their performance to enable staff development.

₋ Perform ad hoc activities and other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
