Human Resources (HR) Executive – SmartWood

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented HR Executive to join our manufacturing team in Al Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our human resources functions, ensuring that our workforce is motivated, skilled, and aligned with the company’s goals. As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for implementing HR strategies that support organizational objectives while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

You will collaborate closely with management to identify staffing needs, oversee recruitment, develop training programs, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Your expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance will be essential in driving our HR initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

1.     Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

2.     Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.

3.     Conduct employee onboarding and training programs to enhance engagement, skills, and retention.

4.     Oversee performance management systems, providing guidance on employee evaluations and development plans.

5.     Address employee relations issues, providing support and conflict resolution to ensure a harmonious workplace.

6.     Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.

7.     Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.

8.     Develop and implement employee engagement programs to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

9.     Provide support for payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.

10. Collaborate with management to assess training needs and develop programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.

Preferred Candidate

11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.

12. Proven experience in HR management within the manufacturing sector or similar industries.

13. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

14. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing employee concerns.

15. High level of integrity and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality in all HR matters.

16. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

17. Familiarity with HR software and tools for managing employee data, performance, and reporting.

18. Strong analytical skills to assess HR metrics and make informed, data-driven decisions.

19. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HR field.

20. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risks.

21. Certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
