Estimation Engineer – DealGTC
Job Summary:
The Estimation Officer/Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for projects by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and other documents. The role supports the bidding process, helps control project costs, and contributes to the financial planning and success of the organization
Reports To: Sales Manager / Head of Department
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and drawings to prepare cost estimates.
Obtain and review quotations from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Develop detailed and itemized BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data.
Prepare tender documents and ensure timely submission of bids.
Review and update historical cost data for use in future estimates.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors in project execution.
Assist in negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as required.
Monitor and track changes in project scope, updating estimates accordingly.
Maintain documentation and records of all estimation and bid activities.
