Collection Officer
Brief: A Collection Officer is responsible for contacting clients who have outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely recovery of funds. The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or letters to collect outstanding debts.
- Handle payment plans and deadlines with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
- Follow up on promises to pay and ensure payments are received.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
- Prepare reports on collection status and progress.
