Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team in the construction and building industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural principles, design processes, and construction methodologies. As an Architect, you will be responsible for creating and developing architectural designs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to local regulations and standards. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential buildings to commercial complexes, ensuring that each design is not only visually appealing but also practical and sustainable.
Responsibilities:
1. Work on defined segments of projects with limited guidance, producing accurate architectural designs and drawings.
2. Prepare conceptual designs, 3D models, and presentations using advanced software tools and contemporary design trends.
3. Develop shop drawings in a standardized format for construction execution.
4. Coordinate with Civil, MEP teams and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of designs.
5. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with specific standards, codes, guidelines, and specifications.
- Assist the tendering department during the pre-tender phase by preparing quantity take-offs, sending out RFQs, and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
7. Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams to resolve design issues during execution and provide site support to ensure that designs are executed properly.
8. Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to obtain design approvals and ensure compliance.
9. Lead proactive coordination with internal and external design disciplines to produce a high-quality, consistent set of design documents or presentations.
10. Mentor and guide junior staff and subordinates in architectural processes, software usage, and design standards.
11. Keep accurate records of drawings, revisions, and approvals. Proactively check and coordinate project documents, including but not limited to multidisciplinary drawings, design reports, design calculations, technical specifications, and bills of quantities, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
12. Present design solutions to clients, stakeholders and colleagues effectively
13. Incorporate innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
14. Attend client and construction meetings, as well as site visits related to projects and tenders, as required.
