IT Operations Manager – Career Hunters
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Operations Manager to oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security and day-to-day IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data center infrastructure, storage, backup and recovery systems, network devices, firewalls, communication systems and secure remote connectivity, while ensuring system availability, security and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Microsoft Azure and Exchange administration and infrastructure.
- Manage NetApp, Huawei and Synology storage systems.
- Administer Veritas NetBackup appliances, including backup, restore, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Manage IBM Tivoli v6, backup/restore operations and LTO Tape.
- Administer Sophos Firewall, SonicWall Email Security and VPN connectivity.
- Configure and manage VLANs on Huawei switches and Cisco switches, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Manage Malwarebytes Central and ManageEngine IT management tools.
- Oversee data center infrastructure and appliances.
- Manage CCTV, access control and security systems.
- Administer and maintain Avaya telephony systems.
- Ensure secure and reliable IT connectivity for staff and remote users.
