Human Resources Business Partner – Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services

KDF is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support the business in delivering effective HR solutions aligned with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and Kuwait labor and regulatory requirements.

The role will partner closely with management and business leaders to support workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development, HR policies, and organizational effectiveness within a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.

Key Responsibilities – but not limited to:

  • Partner with business leaders to translate business requirements into effective HR strategies and solutions.
  • Support strategic workforce planning, recruitment, selection, and onboarding across the organization.
  • Maintain a strong recruitment pipeline and support manpower planning in line with business requirements.
  • Manage and provide guidance on employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and workplace issues.
  • Support compensation, benefits, performance management, succession planning, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor laws, statutory requirements, company policies, and regulatory obligations.
  • Work closely with management and cross-functional stakeholders to improve employee engagement, performance, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze HR data and prepare management reports, workforce metrics, and HR insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitalization, and HR automation.
  • Lead and support initiatives that strengthen employee performance, development, retention, and business continuity.
  • Promote KDF’s culture, HSE values, integrity, and professional standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10–12 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership/HRBP capacity.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s/MBA is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Kuwait labor laws, HR practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, employee relations, analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, and HR/ERP systems.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD or SHRM is preferred.
  • Arabic – spoken and written is mandatory. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
