  3. Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements, providing insights on material availability and lead times to optimize project planning.
  4. Conduct regular audits of material usage and inventory levels, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to prevent material shortages or excesses.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure the best value for materials while adhering to quality standards.
  6. Prepare and submit reports on material status and inventory levels to management, providing actionable insights that support decision-making processes.
  7. Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in material management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to material handling and storage, minimizing risks associated with material management.
  9. Participate in project meetings, contributing material-related insights that influence project strategies and execution plans.
