Head Barista – SOS HR Solutions

We are looking for a skilled and organized Head Barista to manage our coffee shop operations in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily coffee preparation, ensuring that all beverages meet our quality standards, and leading a team of baristas to deliver excellent service to our customers.

Your primary duties will include training new staff on coffee-making techniques and customer service, as well as developing seasonal beverage menus that appeal to our clientele. You will also manage inventory and ensure that all supplies are ordered and stocked appropriately, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

As the Head Barista, you will monitor customer feedback to improve service quality and implement promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement and sales. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with a passion for coffee and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily coffee operations, ensuring all beverages are prepared to the highest standards and maintaining consistency in quality across all products.
2. Train and mentor baristas on coffee preparation and customer service, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
3. Develop and implement seasonal beverage menus that reflect customer preferences and market trends, ensuring variety and quality.
4. Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking coffee supplies, while minimizing waste and ensuring freshness of products.
5. Collaborate with management to create promotional strategies that drive customer engagement and increase sales effectively.
6. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights gathered to enhance the overall customer experience.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
8. Lead team meetings to discuss performance updates and operational improvements, promoting open communication within the team.
9. Stay informed about industry trends and new coffee products, sharing knowledge with the team to encourage innovation in beverage preparation.
