Assistant Finance Manager
Role:

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards while utilizing financial software to streamline the reporting process.
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and providing insights to help management make informed financial decisions.
- Forecast and monitor cash flow.
- Support long-term financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis.
- Support financial transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations and process improvements.
- Strengthen internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Legal, and Talent, to align financial objectives with business goals.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Develop and mentor Finance team members to build a high-performing finance function.
- . Experience in Treasury management.
- . Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare variance reports to identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks.
- . Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and promote cross-functional collaboration for better financial management.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
- Must have worked in Audit firms for atleast 1 year.
- Must have experience in SAP / Oracle ERP / MS Dynamics.
- Experience in the AEC industry or a project-based professional services environment.
- Proven track record of leading financial strategy, FP&A and financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, and tax laws in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
- Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-country environments.
Certifications & Memberships
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA is required.
