Accounts Manager – Seazen Group
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS & IAS. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations (AP, AR, tax, payroll), mentor junior staff, coordinate with banks and auditors, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, tax filings, and payroll
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements under IFRS & IAS
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by staff
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Work closely with Treasurer on cash management and payment processes
- Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff; monitor team targets
- Coordinate with banks for facilities, POS rates, and best services
- Liaise with auditors for efficient and timely audits
- Maintain and track fixed assets per company policies
- Lead, direct, and motivate the accounting team
- Maintain discretion with sensitive/confidential data
