Senior ICT Engineer – Alghanim International
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ICT Engineer to lead and manage the implementation of LV systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
The candidate will play a key role in design review, site supervision, coordination, and project delivery, ensuring full compliance with Kuwait regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of ICT systems across all project phases: engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Supervise and manage installation of:
- CCTV
- Access Control & Security Systems
- Structured Cabling Systems (Copper & Fiber Optics)
- Data Networks
- IPTV & Digital Signage
- Audio Visual (AV) Systems
- Public Address / Voice Alarm (PA/VA) Systems
- Integrated Smart Building Platforms
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local authority requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Interface with other disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, SCADA, and IT systems.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare progress reports, method statements, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT / low current systems.
- Proven experience in power plants, utilities, oil & gas, or major infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience in Kuwait is mandatory.
- Experience with EPC contractors is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong expertise in:
- IP-based CCTV & Video Management Systems
- Access Control Systems (card, biometric, integrated platforms)
- Structured Cabling (TIA/EIA & BICSI standards , Fluke test)
- Fiber Optic Networks (design, splicing, OTDR testing)
- Network Infrastructure (switching & routing fundamentals)
- IPTV Systems
- AV Systems
- Public Address
- Smart Building Integration (BMS, PSIM, IoT)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in critical infrastructure is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP
- RCDD
- CCNA / CCNP
- BICSI Certifications
- Vendor certifications in security, cabling, networking, or AV systems
