Sales Supervisor – Mohamed N. Al Hajery and Sons Co. LTD

Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the performance of beauty advisors, managing retail accounts, and supporting the achievement of sales targets. This role entails supervising the sales team, ensuring compliance with company policies and grooming standards, monitoring retail accounts, and facilitating conflict resolution to drive continuous improvement in sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Policies & Procedures

  • Implement the Perfumes and Cosmetics Department’s policies and procedures and comply with Mohamed Naser Al–Hajery & Son’s other policies.

Duties

Sales Team Supervision

  • Supervise and support all beauty advisors, ensuring adherence to sales targets, grooming standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training and development plans as needed.

Retail Account Management

  • Monitor all retail accounts, identifying and addressing any issues on the ground promptly.
  • Manage accounts without beauty advisors present, handling orders and communications with store managers to ensure effective product placement and sales.

Sales Strategy and Target Achievement

  • Support the Brand manager in setting sales targets based on market insights and sales forecasts.
  • Provide recommendations on marketing plans and promotions based on market observations and sales team feedback, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Brand manager to review sales performance against targets and develop proactive action plans to address any gaps.
  • Monitor beauty advisors’ schedules, attendance, and leave requests to ensure adequate coverage of accounts at all times.

Recruitment and Conflict Resolution

  • Interview and recruit freelance promoters for specific campaigns, ensuring they align with brand values and objectives.
  • Handle conflict resolution between beauty advisors and other team members, providing support and guidance to resolve issues effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Trainer on grooming standards and policy compliance, ensuring consistency across the sales team.
  • Communicate with the Senior Marketing Executive regarding product orders and promotional materials needed for retail accounts.
