Assistant Restaurant Manager – Epicure

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise front and back of house operations
  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring that all activities align with company standards and policies, while maintaining a focus on quality service and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the area manager in training and mentoring staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock and minimizing waste, thus contributing to the restaurant’s profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, utilizing effective communication skills to resolve issues and enhance guest experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections of the restaurant to maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Evaluate staff performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall team effectiveness.
